Instant payments

Faster Payment System / 轉數快 (FPS)24/7 instant credit transfers in HKD AND CNY, addressed by phone number, email, or FPS ID, with a QR code common to all participants. A major distinguishing feature: e-money issuers (AlipayHK, WeChat Pay HK, PayMe, Octopus) participate on the same footing as banks, which effectively linked up Hong Kong’s wallets.
